The
African Buffalo or Cape Buffalo (Syncerus Caffer)
is very common everywhere.
The males can weigh as much as 900 kg. The shoulder height is about 160 cm. The females are typically somewhat smaller. Both sexes have horns which can be up to 125 cm long.
