The Vervet Monkey (Chlorocebus Pygerythrus), or simply the Vervet, is very common in all areas with trees or bushes.

The males weigh 3,5 to 7,5 kg with a body length of 45-85 cm. The females are somewhat smaller, 2,5-5,5 kg and 40-60 cm.

Typically, they live in troops of some 20 individuals. Often they come very close to human residential areas and can sometimes be a nuisance.
