This morning we focused on finishing Theis' confirmation party invitation. That turned out to be a major task. They are now ready for posting, just stamps are missing.

Again today we were invited for a late lunch at the place of Japhet's brother in law. Again we enjoyed some very good food at their nice house. Afterwards we went to a place called "Maganga Golden Beach and Camp Site" at Nyegezi, some 10 km south of Mwanza. There is a little stretch of sand beach and allegedly no risk of bilharzias. We had a nice little swim and enjoyed the sunset.

While the tropical night fell upon us we invited Japhet, his brother in law and his family for dinner at a restaurant. We liked to go to a specific restaurant, which used to serve some really good Indian dishes, but that place had been converted to a supermarket(!). We chose another restaurant, but definitely it could not meet the standards of the restaurant now gone.

Tomorrow we'll leave for Missungwi, the township where I used to live twelve years ago. It'll be very exciting to see how things have changed there.
